Enthiran Release Rights in Different Hand
Endhiran has been dubbed in many languages including Hindi. His films in Hindi Hum, Thyagi, Gangva and Sivaji have received tremendous response from the public. Being Asia’s most expensive film, Robot has already caught public attention what with the teasers being screened every five minutes on television. The Hindi rights of the film Robot’ has been reportedly sold for a whopping Rs. 50 cores.
The rights have been sold to Gemini Film Circuit for this record price. Gemini, in return have decided to market it in a smart way instead of releasing it directly. The Hindi rights now have been sold to Shringar Films for Bombay Territory and to the most famous Mukta Arts in Delhi-UP and Eastern Punjab as well. Red Sun Enterprises, Venkatesh Films and few others have obtained rights over other regions of Hindi-territories

Enthiran Advance Booking in Theaters!
It is a practice in the film industry to begin the advance booking of a film just one week prior to its release. But Endhiran has broken all barriers and the advance booking commenced 10 days before the release date.
The advance booking is on full swing in several theatres in the Chennai city. But this is being done only in theatres and not at the multiplexes. The multiplexes are, however, booking bulk orders from their corporate clients.
Endhiran is a big budget film which is produced by Sun Pictures. The film is directed by Shankar and has Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead.
Endhiran All Tickets Sold In USA !!
e advance booking for Endhiran began at Jackson Heights, a theatre in New York, US, two weeks prior to the release of the film following huge expectations among the fans. The theatre authorities were reportedly surprised to find that all the tickets for the first week shows were sold within 10 minutes of opening the booking.
Endhiran also gets the distinction of being the first Indian film in the US where the tickets were sold within a few minutes of commencing the advance booking.
The reason for its immense popularity is the star cast, which comprises of Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai, producer Sun Pictures, director Shankar and music director AR Rahman.
Rajnikanth’s fans seeking divine help for Endhiran’s success
The paper said that more than 100 hardcore fans, aged 14 to 60, many on their knees, climbed the steps of the Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Sholingur, about 120km from Chennai, reports the Star Online.
The fans took more than three hours to climb the 1,305 steps leading to the main temple and to perform special poojas for the success of the film.

Even before its release, Superstar’s Endhiran (Robot in Hindi and Telugu) has set an all-time record in the United States. The tickets for the first week were sold out within 10 minutes at Jacksons Heights in New York.

Sun TV Network today officially announced Endhiran October 1
In a statement, the production wing of Sun TV Network has confirmed that the mega movie directed by Shankar will see the light of the day on October 1 in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi all over the world.
It may be recalled that Endhiran was censored and was given a U certificate a couple of days ago. With big names like A R Rahman, Shankar, Rathnavelu coming together, hype and expectations are high on this mega-budget movie.

Kollywood’s master film-maker S. Shankar’s forthcoming science fiction film Endhiran, starring superstar Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai in the lead roles, is expected to grace theatres on September 24, 2010. The latest we hear is that the Censor Board has awarded it a clean ‘U’ certificate without any cuts.
Endhiran will release in 2000 screens worldwide, the highest ever for a Tamil film. A star-studded audio launch was held at the Putrajaya Convention Center, Kuala Lumpur on July 31, 2010. With a budget close to Rs. 200 crores, Endhiran is the costliest Tamil film ever made and will be released in over 300 screens outside India, which makes Endhiran the largest worldwide release after Spiderman.
Endhiran” release postponed to October 1
Sun Pictures may have planned out another strategy to tease with their precious “Endhiran”. The movie, which was scheduled for a September 24 release, is now whispered to be releasing on September 30th. Sun pictures keeps on testing the patience of fans which may either result in a positive way or a very negative one.
Just a few days before, Rajinikanth said that the movie would release on the scheduled date without further delay. Now, here, we get to know whether there is a delay and if so why it is. Though there is no confirmed or official news about the delay, reports suggest that it is more likely to happen.
Sun Pictures tempted the audience with the superb ‘trailer’ release of Endhiran or Enthiran. Lots of people rushed to the theaters and waited till the ‘Interval’ merely to see the trailers of “Endhiran”. The curiosity created by the delays may either make or break the film’s success.

Rajinikanth-starrer ‘Endhiran’ Trailer released
The official theatrical trailer of the much-awaited Rajnikanth-starrer film ‘Endhiran’ in Tamil or ‘Robot’ in Hindi was released on Saturday. Rajinikanth fans bursted crackers and distributed sweets on the release of the trailer.
The event was organized in a multiplex and was attended by Kollywood stars like Rama Narayanan, V C Guhanathan, Sarath Kumar, Resul Pokutty, Bhagyaraj, Dharani, K S Ravikumar, Parthepan, Hari, Lingusamy, Sundar C, Cheran, Arya, Vivekh, Lawrence, Karan, Arun Vijay, Sibiraj, Krishna, Rathnavelu and Sabu Cyril.
Latha Rajinikanth, Aishwarya, Dhanush, Soundarya and Ashwin were also present during the release of the trailer.
It is said that the estimate cost of making ‘Endhiran’ is Rs150 crores. Superstar Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are in the lead and it is expected to release on September 24 this year.
‘Endhiran’ has been produced by Kalanidhi Maran on behalf of Sun Pictures and directed by Shankar. The audio of the movie was released at a glittering function in Malaysia on 31st July.
Double Oscar winner AR Rahman has composed the music score for the movie. Rajnikanth fans are waiting eagerly for the release of this movie.

FICUS acquires ‘Endhiran’ USA Rights
FICUS, the leader in overseas distribution has acquired the USA theatrical rights of both Telugu and Tamil versions of Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Endhiran’.
Acknowledging Sun Pictures for the opportunity given to them, FICUS thank Kalanidhi Maran and Hansraj Saxena for giving them this opportunity to work on their prestigious project ‘Endhiran’.
Shankar’s futuristic film ‘Endhiran: The Robot’ will be a real science-fiction in Tamil/Telugu after many decades. It is also going to be the biggest Indian film ever made not just in terms of the money spent on production but also on the line up cast and crew assembled for the film. Besides Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai in the lead roles other major stars in the film include Danny Denzongpa, Santhanam and Kalabavan Mani.
The technical crew of ‘Endhiran’ is hand picked by Shankar from all over the world comprising the best of the world. Oscar Winner AR Rahman, Hollywood stunt director Yuen Woo Ping who designed action scenes for films like The Matrix, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, etc, Animatronics studio Stan Winston Studios which handled visual effects for iconic films like Aliens, Terminator 2 and Jurassic Park, etc.
Industrial Light & Magic that handled the special effects for films like Avatar, Star Wars, and Titanic worked on visual and special effects. Buzz says about 40 per cent of the budget was spent on the special effects.

Shankar, the director of the movie aspires to fill every nook of his film with perfection, which is the reason why, he has aped in Hollywood experts for ‘Endhiran’ technology and special effects.
Hollywood project ‘Avatar’ made history with it’s out of the box realistic depiction of fictitious characters. The animatronics technology used in ‘Avatar’ surpassed every ones expectations. The latest we hear that the same technology has been used in the robotic version of Rajni in the sci- fi entertainer. A large chunk from the Rs. 200 crores of Endhiran’s budget is spent on the effects and animatronics. Before the movie went on floors, director Shankar along with Rajinikant spent two weeks in Los Angeles to prepare the mould for the robot’s body. “The first step was scanning Rajinikant’s entire body to create a prototype. Using this prototype, Hollywood technicians created a robot that everyone said was literally like his double,” says a source from the production house.
Ever since the rushes of the movie were out, it is creating mass hysteria. The promos itself speaking about the gold ‘Endhiran’ is going to spin at the box office. Well, it seems that every bit related to this big- budget extravaganza is getting bigger and better. Aamir Khan great fan of Rajnikanth and waiting Endhiran release
Aamir Khan had said that he is eager to watch Endhiran, produced by Sun Network’s Kalanidhi Maran and directed by Shankar. The actor pointed out that he grew up watching Rajinikanth-starrers mainly because of the actor’s style. Aamir added that is keen to take a peek on Endhiran to know what style Rajini had done for the Robot role.
For the first time, Rajini has paired up with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Endhiran and this has also caused a lot of expectations. The film’s music has been scored by Oscar winner AR Rahman.
Endhiran release pushed to diwali
Superstar Rajnikanth is seen visiting the top politicians and cinema stars, these days, in order to invite them for his second daughter Soundarya’s marriage. The coming September will witness Rajnikanth’s second daughter’s marriage, which will be arranged in a lavish way. All the preparations are going on in full swing and Superstar along with his wife are busy inviting the relatives and friends.
According to reliable sources, ENDHIRAN which was supposed to release in the month of September has been postponed further and all arrangements are being made to release the big budget movie on November 5th, 2010. Although, there are reports that SUN pictures is striving hard to release the movie in the coming month, director Shankar has asked them for some more time and has assured them that the movie will hit screens on diwali this year.
The special affects and graphics work is said to take more 36 days time and so the release date will only be disclosed, when the first copy is in the hands of director Shankar. Producer Kalanithi Maran, Aishwarya Rai, Rajnikanth, A.R Rahman and director Shankar have worked hard for this movie and let’s hope that the output is lustrous.
